*Rajya Sanchar Pratinidhi Kalyan Sahayta Samiti approves amount on Chief Minister’s instructions*
Raipur, / Following the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Rajya Sanchar Pratinidhi Kalyan Sahayta Samiti has approved financial assistance of Rs 50,000 for the journalist whose motorcycle was burned in the fire incident on June 10 at the Baloda Bazar district headquarters. Financial assistance is typically provided to media representatives for serious illnesses and accidents. However, this marks the first instance in the state where, due to the sensitive approach of the state government, the Committee has approved financial aid of Rs 50,000 for a journalist whose motorcycle was destroyed while reporting.
It is worth mentioning that a meeting of Rajya Sanchar Pratinidhi Kalyan Sahayta Samiti was held today at the Directorate, chaired by Public Relations Commissioner Shri Mayank Srivastava. While addressing other issues of media representatives in the meeting, the Committee sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to ANI reporter Shri Ajay Yadav after his motorcycle was burnt in the fire incident in Baloda Bazar district on June 10. Senior journalists and committee members, including Shri Joseph P. John, Shri Subhash Mishra, Shri Deepak Lakhotia, Shri Sanjay Dixit, Shri R.K. Gandhi, Shri T. Suryarao, Shri Pranay Raj Singh Rana, and the member secretary of the committee, Additional Director Shri Sanjeev Tiwari, were present in the meeting.
