Raipur, //The State Nodal Agency of Chhattisgarh is taking strict action against hospitals violating the guidelines of the Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana—Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Swasthya Yojana. Complaints were received regarding hospitals unnecessarily blocking treatment packages, denying benefits, and charging additional fees to patients. Show cause notices were issued to these hospitals, and those failing to provide satisfactory explanations or failing to respond faced penalties. Babuji Care Hospital in Raipur and Samata Hospital in Dondi Lohara, Balod, had their registrations cancelled for blocking packages without justification and ignoring directives from higher authorities. Jai Ambe Multi Speciality Hospital in Raipur was fined Rs. 31.32 lakh and suspended from the scheme for three months for incorrectly blocking ICU packages and providing an inadequate response to the notice.
