    *Long-Pending Time Scale Pay provided to 421 Engineers as per the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma*

    Raipur, / As per the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Chhattisgarh Government’s Panchayat and Rural Development Department issued an order today to extend the benefit of time scale pay to 421 engineers in recognition of their long-standing service contributions. According to the order, 32 engineers who have completed 25 years of service, 388 engineers who have completed 10 years of service, and 1 engineer who has completed 8 years of service have been included. The beneficiaries include Sub-Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Executive Engineers, and Superintending Engineers.

    It is noteworthy that this matter had been pending for the last 4-5 years, but now with the intervention of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, these engineers have finally received the benefit of time scale pay. Earlier, representatives of the engineers had met the Deputy Chief Minister and apprised him of their grievances. Responding to their concerns, Shri Sharma had assured them that their issues would be resolved promptly. Consequently, as per his instructions, the time scale pay benefits have been granted to these engineers who have been serving in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department for many years and have made significant contributions to the state’s development.
