Raipur, //The state government will observe “Sadbhavna Diwas” on August 20, commemorating the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. To mark the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will release online an amount of Rs. 2055.6 crore to the beneficiaries, that include cattle rearers, farmers, labourers, and villagers, of various schemes in a program that will be organised in Mahasamund district on August 20.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will distribute Rs. 1810 crore as the second installment of the “Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana” to beneficiaries on August 20. After the distribution of this amount, the input subsidy amount to 24.30 lakh farmers under this scheme will reach Rs. 21,912 crore in the state. Similarly, he will distribute Rs. 168.63 crore as the second installment of the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor NYAY Yojana, and after this, the total amount distributed to 5.6 lakh beneficiaries will reach Rs. 758.03 crore.
He will release an amount of Rs. 66.21 crore to Rajiv Yuva Mitan (RYM) clubs. The 13,242 RYM Clubs have received Rs. 132.48 crore to engage youth in creative pursuits. Furthermore, he will also distribute Rs. 9.65 crore to beneficiaries of the ‘Godhan NYAY Yojana’. After the distribution of this amount, a total of Rs. 551.31 crore has been distributed to women’s SHGs, Gauthan committees, and villagers in the state.
He will distribute Rs. 1.11 crore to gram panchayats in the non-scheduled area under the ‘Mukhyamantri Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’. With this allocation, a total of Rs. 6.11 crore has been distributed to 6,111 Gram Panchayats.
*Chief Minister will dedicate 223 development projects worth Rs. 655 crore on August 20*
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will announce a slew of development projects worth Rs. 655 crore in the Mahasamund district. He will inaugurate 132 projects worth Rs. 71.08 crore. He will lay the foundation stone and carry out bhumipoojan for 91 projects worth Rs. 583.92 crore, which include the Mahasamund’s Medical College project worth Rs. 322.85 crore and various projects worth Rs. 118.42 crore for urban areas of the district.
*Chief Minister will flag off 50 veterinary mobile medical units on August 20*
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will flag off 7 veterinary mobile medical units for Mahasamund district and 43 units for other divisional districts. Additionally, he will distribute individual forest rights letters and community forest resource rights letters to the beneficiaries.
*Chief Minister will inaugurate 18 new tehsils and 13 subdivisional offices*
Chief Minister will also inaugurate 18 new tehsils and 13 subdivisional offices through video conference. Then, there will be 122 revenue subdivisions and 250 tehsils in 33 districts of the state.
Various stalls showcasing departmental schemes, including Agriculture, Education, Health, and more have been established at the ‘Vikas Pradarshini’ in the venue. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will distribute kits and cheques to beneficiaries at these stalls.
Esteemed guests, including Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. T.S. Singh Deo, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, and Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Baij will grace the program.
