*Mass yoga demonstration event to be organized in Raipur tomorrow*
Raipur, // In a programme organized by the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, nearly 2,000 yoga practitioners gathered this morning to engage in the rehearsal of practicing the Setu Bandha Asana at the Balbir Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur, with the ambitious goal of setting a world record. The commission is organizing a mass yoga demonstration event for attempting a world record on September 10, featuring a group demonstration of Setu Bandha Asana from 9 AM to 11 AM. Participants from across the state will participate in the programme, aiming to record its name in the prestigious Golden Book of World Records.
Shri Gyanesh Sharma, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, explained that the programme’s primary objective is to raise awareness about the significance of yoga and promote a healthy lifestyle. The Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission has previously earned recognition in the Golden Book of World Records. Alongside Setu Bandha Asana, the mass yoga practice programme will include other asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises. Participants from all districts of Chhattisgarh will partake, with over 2,000 individuals registered for the collective yoga practice. The event will see the participation from people across all districts of the state. Public representatives and citizens will also take part in the event.
